Knitting: Tee
A dainty purl stitch pattern combined with subtle shaping adds to the femininity of this linen blouse. It is knit in one piece to the underarm and then separated. The gently curving knit-in hem is achieved through shortrowing. Knit-in facings on the right and left fronts add firmness to the button and buttonhole bands. The large lace collar dou...

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Strudel is an asymmetrical shaped brioche shawl with a beautiful drape. To be honest, this pattern is a real one row wonder. Repetitive increases and decreases are worked every 4 rows only, giving the shawl its unusual shape. Using the main color an applied I-cord is then worked across for a clean finish. You end up with a very feminine shawl, ...

Knitting: Scarf
Colors, textures, and shapes found in nature often inform my design choices, and when warm weather approaches, my mind tends to wander towards the sea. Sea Fans are a fragile type of soft coral found in warm shallow waters. Their vibrant colors and flattened, branching, feathery fronds were my inspiration for this scarf.
Knitting: Tee
Dawn is a fun and versatile little top that can be knit with alternate colors or in a solid color as shown here. Trudy was ahead of her time when she designed this tee shirt to be form fitting. Knitting: Scarf
Leucadia is designed to be timeless and elegant. It can be worn for formal events or dressed down for everyday wear. It is edged with rows of simple, reversible feather faggoting to help the finished knit lay perfectly square and to help make the most of the beautiful, undulating lace throughout. The Leucadia pattern can do double or even tripl...
Knitting: Scarf
There is a rustic quality to the Woven Stitch, not unlike a paved but well-worn passageway in an old-world village. I wanted to take the idea of a rustic roadway a little further, so I combined the fairly dense Woven Stitch with an easy lace stitch that when blocked, opens up to form rounded rectangular “cobblestone” shapes. Combining the two t...

Knitting: Skirt
Comfort and beauty combine in our Ingrid skirt. Ruffles slanting to the side seams make this skirt extra special. Only one color is used per row!” This colouring choice is wonderful if you are slender (Leapman herself has a waist like a weasel); for ourselves, we would make the wide ribbed welt and neck in the darker of the two ...
