Wervel is a yoked colorwork sweater worked in one piece, from the top down. After the yoke, it shifts to a larger gauge to speed up the knitting of the body and sleeves.
The beret shape is created with increases and decreases, but there are also sections where you can relax by knitting Stockinette Stitch. A beret is the chicest hat there is!
