When you’re inclined to feel every chilly draft, yet also experience hot flushes, it’s good to be able to quickly remove your legwarmers without having to unlace and take off your shoes. So I decided to design my own button-up ankle warmers so I can do just that.

If you are anything like me, while you might like the look of fingerless mitts, they just are not practical in cold weather. So, I decided to make individual fingers and add them retrospectively to my gloves.

Twisted Cable Fleece-lined Headband/ Ear warmer with buttons in Adult size 4.5” x 22” approx.

Double Knit (worsted weight) YARN in white (I used undyed Shetland wool) plus 5g pink DK wool for nose

I prefer to use peg bags that not only hang on my rotary-airier washing line, but are also free standing.
