Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
This pattern is knit with 2 colours or more, and is made using slip stitches. It’s a great top for popping on when you can feel a chill but don’t need a jumper. I love mine and where it, a lot.

Knitting: Throw
This has been written for one size but you can add more repeats and it will be bigger. Or take some out to make it smaller. Less stitches for the border will also work.
Crochet: Sleeveless Top
This pattern can be made in 4ply and dk. One of the testers used chunky yarn. So don’t get to worried about the weight of yarn you have. The gauge is mostly for an idea of what yarn amount you will need. As the pattern calls for over sized being off gauge isn’t to much of a problem.
Crochet: Shrug / Bolero
The pattern came about when I was on holiday and wanted something to cover my shoulder.
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
I used hand dyed yarn for mine. But you can use any yarn you like that meets the gauge. The pattern has approximately 4-6inches of ease. I have given finished size guide in the pattern too. Remember that the back will narrow due to the cabling. But it will stretch nicely give it a kind of fitted look.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
This is a one size large drapy shawl. With a fun textured pattern repeat. I used scheepjay whirl, but any dk yarn will work. I liked the use of the cake as it means less joining. And I could be sure to use the colours I wanted.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
The pattern is a simple lace repeat. That covers the body of the leg and the top of the foot. The heel is a heel flap, with simple short rows. Because you slip the stitches on your heel flap it is easy to pick up the stitches for your gusset. I used advent 20g mini skeins from the dye shack to make mine. But I know it works just as well with stylecraft dk. Which is why I used that as the yarn used.
Knitting: Gloves
The pattern is written to give a you a loose fit glove. For a tighter fit go down a size or more. It’s optional to use the smallest size needles for the rib I didn’t and they fit just fine.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
This is my first Tunisian pattern, I have gone for drape, so used a larger hook. I used hand dyed yarn from my Stash but any fingering weight yarn will work.

This is a collection of simple patterns written for beginners, or people who haven’t made anything like this. I was asked to write the patterns for brownies and guides. As part of there mental health awareness badge they wanted to make something for someone else.
Knitting: Cowl
As the name suggests It’s OK to be different, my daughter is autistic and when I designed my first jumper she wanted one the same. But not the neck and not those sleeves and no not that colour. And so the name came about.

There is 2 to 4 inches of positive ease in the pattern. I also give ideas on how to make the body less dense,
Knitting: Cowl
This pattern can be made with or with out the colourwork, it’s a textured pattern. You make hidden hearts which make the cowl ruffle. I have made a few of these. And they have been recieved well. I want to make it in all textured, I think I would do 4 chart repeats if I did.

The hat is quite adaptable. And a rib can be added to it to make it more structured. The lace work is a simple repeat. Easy for a beginner.

This uses that one stein of sock yarn that you brought but aren’t sure what to make with it. All the testers have made it with one skein.
Crochet: Baby Blanket
I have written it for a car seat. However I have said how to make it bigger and smaller. Testers have done just that. From mini for premi babies to throws for the sofa.

This hat is made in the round. It came about because I had lots of part balls of chunky and wanted a way to use it up.
Knitting: Cardigan
The main body of the cardigan is made flat, from the top down. The sleeves are made in the round.

This cowl is a slow burner. Made in 4ply yarn with 2.75mm needles it take a while to make but is worth it.

The pattern is a simple 5 row repeat. That adds a lot of texture to the hat. It’s a fairly loose fit. But you are given the information needed to change this if you wish. The pattern is written for adults again the information is given on how to make it smaller.

It seems ages since I did some crocheting, but the mother in law asked for a new cowl for Christmas. I wanted something that worked up fast, but wasn’t boring. it needed texture, it needed to hold my interest. and I wanted it to have as little sewing in to do as possible.

This jumper is made in dk yarn and can be made in various sizes. It has a simple cable repeat on the sleeves and down the sides making it simple but beautiful.

This pattern is an easy colourwork hat. Using contrasting colours from 2 to 5 can be used. There are examples given by way of my amazing testers. Or you can by a kit for both the hat and cowl from The dye shack. Which i am super excited about. Checked out the projects where the testers have there say about the pattern.

These gloves are part of a group of knits that am making. The hat and cowl are already available in my pattern store and the jumper for both children and adults are on there way. This hat is made in the round. And can be made on dpn’s or circular needles or both. You can use most dk yarns for it, so long as they meet the gauge. I used 100% merino hand dyed yarn by The dye shack. And it was tested with merino and nylon mix.
Crochet: Afghan block
The pattern is for a 9in square. This alone is useless. But used together can make a blanket. You can make it bigger or small by using different weight yarn. And changing the hook.

This pattern works well with hand dyed yarn. With long colour changes. But will work with any sock yarn/ fingering weight.

This is the children’s version of my Its OK to be different pattern. This pattern is jdesigned to be made in 4 ply yarn.
Crochet: Shrug / Bolero
This shawl is an easy shawl to make. And looks great in lots of colours or justa few. It can be made with or without the slits to hold it as a shrug. Although I find it helps to put the ends through when wearing as a cowl. It can be made larger by making it in aran weight. Or bigger still in chunky.

You will require 3mm Double point needles and circular needles for this pattern.

Approximate yardage is included in the pattern. Needle size can be reduced for rib if you wish for a tighter rib.

This pattern is for 1 twelve inch square. These can be used to make blankets of all sizes.

This item is made as a bit of fun. you will need chocolate oranges and a tube of some sort of sweets to use as stuffing. it can be made in colours other then the ones stated and the hair can be made in lots of colours too. it uses less then one ball of yarn and some scraps.
