These knitted and fulled boots / slippers are modeled on Russian Valenki.

Some knitters have trouble getting this gauge with sport weight wool and prefer to use a fingering weight yarn.

Uses two balls of Brown Sheep Nature Spun Sport. Will also work with most Fingering weight sock yarns.

This hat is felted, so exact gauge doesn’t matter as much as calculating the rate of shrinkage for the yarn you’re using.
