This sock is inspired by the swedish shire of Hälsingland. The specific houses with vale windows, the blue mountains and fields of common flax. The foot pattern is inspired by the Järvsö costume, freely modified by me to fit a sock size. Happy knitting!

This sock is knitted cuff-down and has a short row heel. The sock is one in my series of visit socks of the swedish shires. This time inspired by the deep forests of Värmland where the flower Trientalis europaea grows. Soft and slender, she tries to face the sun beams in the heavy greenery of midsummer.
