Knitting: Mittens
I searched for a long time to find out how to make the warmest possible mittens (and the prettiest too), with the beautiful and delicate Radicelle yarn from Couleurs Locales. I wanted a strong, warm palm. I wanted flowers, spring, lace, playing with colours.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I was looking for the perfect hat for our Quebec winters. A hat that wouldn’t need to be lined and that would remain comfortable even at 20 below zero (with a small wind factor).
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Sizes: about 15 (21) cm / 6 (8¼)“ around foot. The length is easy to adjust.
Knitting: Skirt
Waist circumference: 61 (66, 74, 81, 89, 97) 104, 112, 119, 127, 135 cm / 24 (26, 29, 32, 35, 38) 41, 44, 47, 50, 53“
Knitting: Ankle Sock
I started these socks because I needed to keep my hands and mind busy, first during the big stress periods at the beginning of the confinement, and then during all the video conferences I had to do afterwards.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These socks contain a large main pattern, as well as a small pattern on each side that starts in the ribbing and ends at the tip of the foot. The lace stitches are a bit difficult to execute, especially because of the relatively tight gauge you want to have in a sock. The work is therefore longer than for normal socks, but the result is so sati...
Knitting: Pullover
Larlar is a sweater that is knitted top-down, with a lace pattern on the yoke. Since it is knitted on quite large needles, it is very quick to make and offers a comfortable drape to wear. It uses a sock yarn and a mohair-silk thread held together. The pattern offers two sleeve lengths: middle-length or long sleeves.
Knitting: Gloves
These gloves are the result of a collaboration with Angélique from Lili Yarns. When I saw these two skeins, which are coloured from two exhaust baths of the same colour, I wanted to play with a simple colourwork pattern to switch from one colour to another, as if one was diluted in the other.
Knitting: Pullover
Miroulade is a simple but interesting to knit sweater for children and babies. The sizes offered include a lot of positive ease, so the sweater can be worn for a long time, despite the child’s growth spurts. Besides, the sleeves are pretty as they are and with the edge folded up… so don’t be shy to knit a size a little larger than what the chil...
Knitting: Mittens
I like mittens with coloured patterns, and I love mittens that use interesting wrist techniques. So I had a lot of fun with this pattern. I created 5 sizes, which are variations of the same design: 3 sizes from baby to young child, and two adult sizes, small and large female hand.
Knitting: Pullover
A pretty sweater for the cold winter days! The colorwork pattern is quite easy to remember, you’ll know it by heart before the end of the project.
Knitting: Leggings
Those leggings give you two options for the belt : with a cord or an elastic band. Both the cord and the elastic band are inserted inside the belt, for comfort. All sizes have pockets, except sizes 3 and 6 months.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Virgule is a simple baby beenie using knit and purl stitches to create delicate beaded ribbing. Ribbing gives elasticity to the beenie, so the baby is able to wear it for much longer.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
You will need to choose 2 colors (I chose pink-purple and blue- green). Then choose a pale and a dark for both. Finally, choose a contrasting color (here it’s yellow and white).
Knitting: Skirt
This pattern is quite easy. You only need to know how to work increases, follow a chart and sew an elastic (and my way of sewing an elastic is really easy).
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
If you join the KAL in the Springtree Road group, you may buy half skeins of the color of your choice. So you won’t pay for more yarn than what you need.
Knitting: Skirt
A light skirt, with pretty flowers inspired by the colorful fields of Québec in summer.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Cette tuque est simple et rapide à exécuter (une soirée suffira à la tricoter).
