Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
Designed and crocheted during a long car trip, this Granny Triangle shawl took 729 miles to make! Pairing easy granny repeats and accent rows to break up the colors, you can use two colors, or more, to make this fun, medium-sized shawl.
Knitting: Poncho
Lace acorns decorate this rectangular poncho. Poncho features an i-cord neck edge, and bottom garter stitch edge, and is easily lengthened for a larger (wider) poncho, or widened for a longer poncho.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This simple broken rib hat knits up quickly on larger needles, and comes in two hat sizes - perfect for gifts! This stocking cap can be worn unfolded and long, or folded over the ears for a closer fit (and warmer ears).
Knitting: Cowl
Knit in the round as a long tube and then folded back in on itself, the Torus Cowl features simple knitting and purling to ease you through your evenings. The yarn is incredibly soft, and knit at a larger gauge, this cowl is lightweight, but warm.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Knit with two colors of Quince & Co Owl/Owl Tweet, the Rontak Hat uses only one color at a time, and slip stitches, to achieve a blended, subtle color shift from the cuff, to the middle of the hat, and back again at the crown.
Knitting: Cowl
This slipped stitch pattern is easy and fun for beginners and entertaining for more experienced knitters. The Main Color is the vertical columns of stitches.
Knitting: Baby Blanket
Tessellation Blanket plays with garter stitch and stockinette stitch triangles that interlock. It is easily upsized, and the stitch repeat is mentioned in the pattern so it can be adapted to larger projects.
Knitting: Scarf
Bias stripes and tassels will dress up any t-shirt and sandals! This linen scarf uses 2 colors of Quince & Co Kestrel.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This toe-up sock pattern was originally published on my old blog Nepenthe’s Misadventures back in 2003. Now edited for clarification and simplicity, it features what might now be considered an “old school” way of doing toe-up socks - a provisional cast on and short-row toe.
Knitting: Scarf
The Lima i-cord scarf features a central i-cord core and was designed to use only three balls of Rowan Lima.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
The download contains two patterns for mill end & Lush hats. Pattern 1 is the Dashes Hat, Pattern 2 is the Multi Stripe Hat.
Knitting: Hats - Other
Great oaks from Little Acorns Grow. The Little Acorn Hat is knit in the round in stockinette for the nut, and reverse stockinette for the cap, with a purl i-cord for the stem. Knit at a tighter than normal gauge for warmth.
Knitting: Cowl
A lovely alpaca cowl knit in a vintage bubble stitch pattern. Knit in the round, the stitch pattern requires the knitter to drop stitches and knit them with the exposed bars.
Knitting: Mittens
Thumbless baby mittens are so. stinkin’. cute. This pattern took less than 20g of sock yarn, and 15g of a contrast yarn in the same weight per mitten.

Knitting: Scarf
A super simple scarf pattern for guys. This is a shorter scarf, suitable for men who want a more traditional business scarf - one that can be worn around the neck once and then crossed in front under a leather jacket, trench coat, or wool coat.
