The Tank Stream is the waterway that sustained the first convict settlement during the late 18th century in Sydney, Australia. Tank Stream shawl is a huge cosy wrap, knitted in garter stitch, with a cascade of relaxed cables down one side. The shawl was created using Fair Dinkum DK, a soft and sustainable merino wool yarn, from Dingo Dyeworks.

Sixteen is a wide triangle-shaped lace shawl, edged with garter stitch and finished with a delicate picot bind-off. I was lucky enough to purchase some Pirate Purl Yarns Voyager yarn, a lovely woolly Australian Polwarth fingering yarn, to use for this shawl. What a treat!

South Beach is a wide triangular-shaped shawl featuring squishy garter and stocking stitch stripes.

Blossomfield is a crescent-shaped top-down shawl featuring a squishy garter stitch body paired with a pretty petal lace. Knitted with two monochromatic skeins of Dingo Dyeworks Ridgy-Didge Softies fingering weight yarn; the dark tonal skein is used for the garter section, and the light tonal skein is used for the lace section and picot edge.

Endless Road is a wide crescent-shaped shawl featuring a squishy garter stitch body with bands of stockinette and slipped stitches for colour interest. Knitted from the top down, it uses either two or three colours of fingering weight yarn. Choose your favourite colour combination and cast on!

Verandah is a warm and comforting hug of a shawl. Relaxing garter stitch, along with slipped stitch colourwork, work together to create visual interest, texture, and a soft fabric that drapes well.
