This pattern when made with 1mm hook and size 30 thread can produce a nice size butterfly for earrings. When using a 1.75mm hook and size 10 thread can produce a charm for a necklace or a key chain or purse charm.

This pattern is worked in continuous rounds starting with a magic ring. You will use single crochet increases and decreases to achieve the proper shape. Any size 10 thread can be used and I have made them with both a 1.5mm and 1.75mm hook.

This pattern is becoming increasingly harder to find each time I make it and I have to read stitches from images and put together several people’s “ideas” So I thought I would share it for free since I did the work to put it together but they are not really mine to sell.
