Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These socks are perfect for showcasing a beautiful skein of self striping yarn. They include an eye of partridge heel for durability and a striking look in a coordinating color. The heel is worked slightly longer to provide a better fit over a high arch. Pattern could easily be modified to work a 64 or 72 stitch sock.
Knitting: Scarf
This is a simple scarf that showcases this lovely self striping yarn. It is easily customizable by simply adding or subtracting stitches by multiples of two for either a narrower or wider scarf. You can make the length shown here or simply knit until you run out of yarn for a longer version.
Knitting: Headband
The frost turban is a lightweight and stylish accessory. Knitted from brushed alpaca gives a lovely texture without the itch from mohair.
Knitting: Balaclava
This easy pattern is worked in the round on circular needles with a brief section worked in rows and then finished on dpns. This fits most adults and provides good coverage down the neck.
