Sculptured Waves is a very textured pattern made in the round. It can be made with 50g of sock yarn. It works with gradients, mini skeins and solid colours. The pattern is suitable for odd amounts of yarn as it can be finished at the end of any texture row.

I made this shawl to keep my daughter warm in the cool mornings when she sits on the couch. It has long wings to drape over her arms like a warm hug. It features an unusual construction which will showcase a gradient set of 10 or 20 colours although it can be made with a single coloured yarn too.

This pattern is to fit a hand measuring 18 cm around the palm or a large womans hand. It is made with 25 g skein of the main colour and four 5g gradient mini skeins. The yarn was dyed by Changeling Coloured Yarns who offer a kit for this pattern.
