This is a simple stranded colour knit cushion knitted in an Aran yarn. I’ve chosen Scheepjes Stone Washed XL, because I love the Scheepjes colours and prefer knitting homewares in cotton, but you can use any Aran weight yarn.

This hat and cowl setvis knitted in the round with Aran weight yarn using stranded colour work. The lovely changing hues of the contrast yarn, Drops Big Delight, makes the fair isle pattern stand out.
