Knitting: Scarf
Vertical stripes create a fun, engaging pattern. Ribbing creates a bouncy fabric that is reversible and cozy.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Yardage Needed: Fingering Weight, approximately 300 (400) yds in Main Color and 215 (250) yds in Contrast Color
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is a fun, lightly challenging knit shawl. The body is written with a charted edging. This was part of a mystery knit-a-long, all clues are released and final pattern is out for $5 with two sizes.
Knitting: Hats - Other
This is a fun, simple pattern, perfect for a quick gift. The cables are a mock cable and very simple. The pattern is also easy to size up or down if needed.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
“Apollina” is a feminine form of a Greek name meaning “Gift of Apollo.” The strong geometric lines on this shawl bring to mind the rays of the sun, and Apollo is the Green god of the sun. This two color shawl has short row body shaping; starting at one side, you work short rows to the other side, alternating a series of two color short row wedg...
Knitting: Hats - Other
This is an easy and quick pattern to knit, using knits, purls, and easy lace stitches.
Knitting: Scarf
This scarf is fun and easy! The ribbed cables make it reversible too! The pattern is written out and charted, so you can choose to follow either.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I love how architectural cables can be, especially in 2 colors. The two color version in particular reminds me of the reliefs you see with fretwork. Fretwork is an interlaced decorative design that is either carved in low relief on a solid background.
Knitting: Cowl
The Arrow Lace Cowl is made with a simple lace pattern that flows out of the ktbl, p1 ribbing. Easy to enlarge as needed, this pattern is flexible and fun to knit.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat was created for the LYS I work at to showcase the mini mochi yarn and take advantage of its self striping. Stained Glass is made with slipped stitches in two colors to create the vertical stripes. The brim is worked in corrugated ribbing.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
This pattern is worked side-ways and sewn up. There is a series of short rows that form the thumb gusset to make this a unique pattern. This fits any size, as you just knit until it is large enough to go around your hand. This is also a fairly simple design, the only advanced step being the picot bind off and short rows.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is a modification intended to be superimposed upon Damson by Ysolda, and is not a complete pattern in itself. It works best if you print out an extra sheet (or photocopy) the lace chart from the original Damson, then draw the symbols from my chart into hers. At this point my chart does not begin at the edge as it is just the pattern repeat...
Knitting: Scarf
This scarf is formed by short rows centering on a central stitch, creating lovely ruffles. The light weight mohair yarn gives it an airy feel, and makes it a scarf you can do with one skein!
