Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This is my favorite basic sport weight sock pattern, embellished with a simple eyelet heart design.

Knitting: Bracelet
Gauge is not critical for this project: use needles that are too large for the yarn to ensure the stitches have room to shrink in the felting process.

While knitting these socks, I kept thinking that the color combination looked familiar. When I had finished the leg of the second sock, it hit me: the colors and stitch pattern remind me of one of my childhood cats! Casey was an orange tabby, and he was ginormous. The epitome of a fat cat! These socks are named in his honor.
