If you know the basics of tunisian crochet you can make this loveley shawl. I used several stitches which are all explained in the pattern.

Mittens are made with a double-ended hook. You work in the round. You can use any yarn and any size of hook, but you have adjust the number of stitches.

Tunisian crochet basics are required for this pattern(foundation row, simple stitch, finishing off, forward pass and return pass)
