This lovely cowl has a pleated bottom that flares out flat against chest and back. Can be worn inside coat or outside to show off the pleated edge. Any soft worsted weight (soft against skin) yarn will do and I think tonal or solid shows off the pattern better than a variegated would.

This is an easy wear capelet you can throw on with a pair of jeans or wear over a dress. sections can be added or subtracted for larger or smaller sizes. The vertical lines are flattering and the lace edging adds a bit of whimsy. It can be made to just sit on your shoulder or with a higher neckline.
