Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a great pattern to use for charity hats. I’ve sized it from preemie to large adult so it can be made to fit any head. It is also a good way to use up small bits of leftover yarn.
Knitting: Slippers
These slippers were designed with a snug fit and 2 strands of yarn for extra warmth. They are worked with a slightly less number of stitches on the sole to really hug your arch and not slip around when wearing. Two balls of yarn was plenty to make a pair for my size 9 feet with plenty to spare.
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
This easy summer top is worked bottom up with only 1 seam at the center back. The ruffle and shoulders are both joined with a 3 needle bind off. There is an applied I-cord around the armhole and a row of single crochet around the back opening. This pattern would also be cute worked into a dress length. The pattern stitch is an easy 2 row repeat.
