This sheep tea cosy pattern includes written instructions in UK terms (with US conversions and decimal/imperial measurements) and a chart for the bobble stitch panels.

This sample is worked in Drops Paris Cotton on a 4.5mm hook and used approximately 250g of yarn but can be worked with any yarn of your choice (ideally one with limited stretch).

I made this top to fit a 35”/89cm bust with 200g (200m/219yds) of Rowan Creative Linen and a 6.00mm hook, though it can be made with other yarn weights and hook sizes. For example, I’m working on a smaller version in DK (light worsted /#3) yarn and a 4.5mm hook for my elder daughter.

This pattern has been worked in cotton DK yarn with a 4mm hook, but can be made with any yarn, and works well with textile yarns for a mat or seat pad for a chair.
