Knitting: Cowl
This colorful, quick, and easy cowl knits up in no time, with tweedy pops of color reminiscent of a pointillist painting. We used two colors of Noro Kagayaki, but any aran or worsted-weight, color-changing yarns would work. Try using the darker color as the main, or the lighter—the variations are endless!
Knitting: Scarf
This deceptively simple scarf makes the most of two colorful self-striping gradient yarns, playing them against one another in a pattern that uses only knits and purls. The result is a wonderfully colorful work that is easy to make and fun to wear! This is a great pattern for beginners - it looks like it was much harder to make than it is.
Crochet: Scarf
I had this beautiful sunset-colored yarn I got on sale at Jo-Ann, and finally found the perfect pattern for it - vertical shells that repeat the colors in surprising ways.

Looking for a manly pattern for your favorite guy? I created this one as a gifting pattern for the men in my life and they loved it. Paired with “manly colors,” it works up quickly and looks terrific.
