Eldbjørg is a textured lace scarf knitted in two parts and grafted at the center. It features lace that looks more complicated than it really is, and is embellished with Estonian nupps in the center motif.

Ingveld is a riff on the traditional Shetland hap shawl. The garter stitch body is worked sideways on the bias. Then stitches are picked up around the sides for the lace. It is finished with an edging with true lace (patterning on every row).

This simple cowl is worked in garter stitch and takes only a few hours from cast-on to bind-off. First the center is cast on provisionally and worked back and forth. This shawl combines some characteristics of my favourite lace tradition, Estonian, with one of my favourite shawl traditions, Faroese. That said, I otherwise lack the inspiration to really sell any potential buyers on the amazing virtues of this pattern, so let me give you a rundown of the facts:
