The top is worked flat in two pieces (front and back) on circular needles starting from the bottom with some waist shaping and bust darts.

The pattern is a schematic description of the vest, and there is no stitch-by-stitch instruction. Any self-striping yarn is suitable for it, no matter how thick (but you will have to recalculate the whole thing).

This shawl was inspired by vivid colours of early spring: bright green new leaves, dark earth, cloudy sky and late melting snow.
