This is a great knit for both spring and fall depending on the color you use. It is a great introduction to chevrons. This pattern comes in small, medium and large with the one in the photos being the large. I really don´t believe the gauge matters much in this pattern. The most important is the blocking.

This pattern is made for a woman’s medium to large and would be easily changed to men’s by sizing up the needles or yarn weight.
