After showing a slipper pattern I learned in an ancient time (1960’s ;-D ) I received several comments about it. Seems that many Ravelers already knew of this pattern. I took a couple of the comments and some of my own thoughts and combined them into these slippers.

Reminiscent of the 60’s is this light and airy shawl. I call it the Love Knot as this was a time for peace and love. It was the first time the girls about my age wore shawls and ponchos. Stoles were for the older ladies of the age. ;-) These new stitches were designed for our generation.

I knitted many pairs of these slippers when I was a kid. They were the easiest slippers ever! Just a rectangle with two stitch patterns – garter stitch and 1x1 ribbing all made to the size of your own feet.
