Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
This simple but effective shawl design is made asymmetrically but because the crochet maths works out it finishes as a symmetrical triangular shape. It uses a combination of UK groups of 3 trebles and linen stitch or US groups of 3 double crochets and linen stitch and finishes with a fairly straightforward but very pretty border.

Crochet: Baby Blanket
This blanket is worked corner to corner and was inspired by Attic24’s Cosy Stripe blanket. The finished blanket lies beautifully square with no twisting. The pattern includes photographs and charts. You can make the blanket with any yarn using an appropriate size hook though thicker yarn will produce a larger blanket and thinner yarn will produ...
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
It is probably advisable that you are familiar with conventional corner to corner crochet before attempting this pattern.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
The shawl ends up being a perfectly symmetrical triangular shape although the pattern starts at one corner and the rows gradually increase in length, finishing at the other corner and centre point of the shawl. The lacy, open bead stitch section produces a delicate texture, separated by sections of treble crochet/double crochet stitches.
Crochet: Baby Blanket, Throw
This blanket is made using the corner to corner join as you go technique. If you have never done corner to corner crochet before, I reccommend that you become familiar with the conventional corner to corner crochet technique first.

Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
The front post stitches give a lovely texture to this shawl. I strongly recommend you watch this video which shows how the stitch placement works before starting. It is in US terms but the demonstration is very clear.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
This shawl was made using one whirl of Blackcurrant Squeeze Me. It uses UK trebles / US double crochets and puff stitches to create the interlocking diamond shapes. It is a 6 row pattern repeat. The shawl could be made larger by adding a complementary whirlette and making more pattern repeats. While most of the pattern testers used whirls, at l...
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
The shawl pattern is a straightforward 8 row repeat. The edging is more complex and I would say this is of an intermediate standard. The pattern includes close up photos to help. Two out of three makers completed the shawl with one Scheepjes Whirl. A third tester ran out of yarn on the final row and finished off with a Scheepjes Whirlette. If yo...
Crochet: Bedspread
This pattern was inspired by the Peacock Blanket made by Heather of The Patchwork Heart. It was in shades of blue and green and I thought, “I could do something with that.” In May 2017 I went to Kefalonia (a Greek Island in the Ionian Sea) and I was amazed by all the colours in the sea. I found the textured ripple stitch, which seemed very appr...
