Crochet: Afghan block
This square can be made in one colour or several. Great for using up the oddments of your stash!
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
I did not invent this pattern. It has been around for some time and I don’t know who the original designer was.
Crochet: Jewelry - Other
I originally designed this pattern to make my granddaughter a necklace on elastic, in white cotton, so that she could colour each bead herself with felt-tip pens.
Crochet: Edging
I used this edging to go down the side of a curtain, but it could be used for a variety of purposes.
Crochet: Wall Hanging
Little flags for little people. Bunting always looks sweet decorating a baby’s room!
Crochet: Coaster
A retro-style, triangular-shaped coaster in bright colours and thick cotton to mop up any drips!
Crochet: Floral block
I have tried to make this pattern error-free, but I am the only person who has made it so far! If you find a problem, please let me know so that I can amend the pattern.
Crochet: Sachet
A pattern I first designed in the 1970s, which was published in Woman’s Weekly magazine in the UK.
Crochet: Brooch
I used kidsilk haze and DMC cotton together to give a firmer brooch flower. The centres were felt pieces I bought, or a felt ball, sometimes cut in half to expose the multi-coloured inside.
Crochet: Hanging Ornament
This little bag, a variation on my standard tree bag pattern, is designed to hold just one Ferrero Rocher chocolate and hang on the Christmas tree!
Crochet: Sachet
One Ferrero Rocher chocolate fits perfectly in one of these tree bags. You may find other sweet treats that fit equally well!
Crochet: Drawstring Bag
I use this purse for my loose change, but it would be equally good for a bride to hold her lipstick and comb in or to hold sugared almonds as christening favours.
Crochet: Cloche Hat
I created this pattern for my head - which is not very big - so you may need to add some rows!
Crochet: Pin Cushion
If you want brown eggs try dyeing the finished work (before stuffing) in strong tea. I tried coffee but the colour was not as strong.
Crochet: Bracelet
I have also used this technique to make straps for a shoulder bag in DK yarn, without the beads.
