Crochet: Doll
This pattern is very dear to my heart. It is being released in Honour of Truth and Reconciliation Day in Canada. This Indigenous Mother doll represents First Nations parents everywhere who were separated from their children when they were forced into residential schools to “assimilate” them. I want to bring awareness to the rich cultures of the...

Knitting: Booties
This is such a fun project, and an adorable outcome. These little guys were designed for a friend who just had a new baby boy, and they fit him perfectly!. I wanted something that looked like little basketball shoes, and I think they turned out just darling. I love that they have the illusion of having the tongue of the shoe sticking up. Oh, I ...
Knitting: Dress
My Grandmother taught me to knit when I was eight years old, and she will be celebrating her 80th Birthday this St. Patricks day. This dress was inspired by her, and knit with lots of love in my heart for the most loving and caring woman I know. She instilled in me a passion for knitting that I will treasure always.

This is a pattern I came up with inspired by my experiences living through many Canadian Winters. Even though I complain all winter and talk about moving somewhere where the sun shines all year round, I truly am a winter girl at heart. I love winter sports and can’t imagine anything cozier than coming in from the cold, sitting by a nice warm fi...

This fun and gorgeous shoe PATTERN was inspired by a very bubbly friend of mine who told me she wanted to see a more feminine design in my shop. I love the ruffled detail and the 3 buttons. They would be great as house slippers, or put some durable soles on a pair and wear them outside as well. I love the idea of having a pair of shoes that you...

Well, I had such a great response from my Lady Finkaa pattern that it inspired me to make them in more sizes. My Finkaas are inspired by our family heritage of Swiss ancestry. I wanted to make a loafer-like slipper/shoe that would portray the heritage that we treasure in our home, and share it with you.
Knitting: Slippers
I originally designed these for my husband. I loved the idea of using the contrast of a felted slipper with an un-felted strap, giving the entire slipper more texture and dimension, and I love the results so much that I have tried the technique several times since with other patterns.
Knitting: Booties
These baby boots are hip, trendy, and extra warm. These are my personal favourites for my own kids when they’re little, and I love the way that they fit so perfect and snug on their little feet, and stay on so well.

So, my thoughts coming up with these baby boots is that it is very hard to find a pair of shoes out there that really are a newborn size. These boots are teeny and adorable. They are a fast and easy project, that can be done in an evening for that special baby in your life.

Knitting: Slippers
This beautiful PATTERN for Lady Loafers was inspired by my husband’s Swiss ancestry and a cold winter’s day sitting by my fireplace. I wanted to bring to life the heritage that is so deeply ingrained in our home. Along with our Swiss clocks, and pocket knives, why not a pair of Swiss Loafers as well! These slippers (or Finkaas in Swiss – clear ...
