This jacket was inspired by a ruana. I added sleeves and a collar. As it is worked sideways it is a great opportunity for stash busting. It is also rather flattering.

This coat features some unique construction elements. The body is worked sideways while the bodice and sleeves are worked together upwards from the body. The coat also features a shawl collar and side pockets. It is also one pattern where row gauge is very important.
