One of my family’s favorite books is The Amazing Idea of You, by Charlotte Sullivan Wild. One of the most touching details of the book to me — and the inspiration for this pattern — is the cardigan the main character grows up with.

It is designed to make the most of one 100g skein of any fingering weight yarn.
