Tristna is a scarf pattern in fingering weight yarn but can be worked in any yarn weight and any size. I recomment a low man-made fibre content though to ensure you get the expected ladder pattern effect.

I created this novice-friendly pattern with the focus on the gorgeous self-striping Ferner “Baby Soft printed” yarn, adding no competition from a intricate pattern. You can substitute the yarn with any self-striping yarn in the range of recommended needle size 3 - 4, I purposely went up one needle size though to have a very relaxed drape.

This pattern is for a felted crochet bag - if you cannot obtain the recommended yarn, please make sure to substitue with felting yarn, so your bag will actually felt after the washing cycle. Manmade fibers will not work for this project.
