This is a tiny crochet cat shaped toy, semi inspired by Beans the Cat by Linda Dawkins, but in crochet, and much smaller. Itty bitty kitty is great for using up tiny amounts of sock and fingering yarn, and even yarn ties.

My kid was/is a huge toddler. I made him some basic wooly mittens just so that he would have something that fit.

I wanted to make a dishcloth that incorporated a nylon scrubby, but was square instead of round. And I wanted to make it more interesting than all single crochet. This is what I came up with.
