Knitting: Mittens
Two patterns from an old book Gotländska stickmöster became my inspiration for these mittens: the Swedish “murgröna”, which means ivy, on the cuff, and Gotland roses on the hand.
Knitting: Mittens
The heart-pattern in the flag colors of Ukraine was created in February 2022. I needed to use my creativity to show solidarity with a European country that was attacked by a neighboring country’s regime. With this project, my warmest thoughts go to the Ukrainian people.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This short feminine beanie with a pattern of mirroring hearts in the colors of the Ukrainian flag was born on February 28th 2022 out of a spontaneous urge to show support for a nation being attacked by a regime of a neighbor country.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
A photo of a friend’s mom from late-seventies inspired the pattern and the name of this hat. It is varm on the ears because of double brim: garter stitch facing out and stockinette from the inside, then simple ribbing on the top.
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
A romantic custom-fitted summer top with granny squares in silk and cotton. Bodice in hand dyied cotton and slip stitch. Size-inclusive, as it goes up to 4XL!
Knitting: Beanie, Toque, Cowl
This unisex set has become a favorite for urban walks and nature hikes.
Knitting: Mittens
For those lovely Lingonberry Mittens, inspired by Baltic and Sweedish knitting traditions, you only need one skein of main color and then just use up your leftover yarn for the pattern. The choice for the cuff is free, and for the hand-part - as long as the stems are greenish and berries are reddish - you have the right expression!
Knitting: Headband, Cowl
If you find yourself with amounts of thin mohair and thin wool or alpaca in your boxes, you can knit simple headbands with knot and a cowl to go with. There are quick projects and nice Christmas presents. Simple knot is stylish and reminds us of 1940s and 50s fashion with turban hats and headbands. You can also make a double twist.
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
This halter-neck-top comes in two versions. One with an open bikini-back and one with closed back. The closed one is also cropped.
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
This short top is inspired by 1940-ies Scandinavian fashion and a movie about Norwegian actress Sonja Wigert “Spionen” - “The Spy”
Knitting: Beanie, Toque, Cowl
In 2016 I created Baltic Herring male gansey and have since then been returning to the fish pattern as it is festive and rather universal.
Knitting: Coat / Jacket
This short cardigan is inspired both by the 1950s and Baroque royal fashion. It is knitted from the bottom up, has a round neck, fitted sleeves with optional puffs and button closure at the front. The bodice is worked flat, while the sleeves can be worked in the round up to the armholes. The sleeves are knitted in contrasting color and are deco...
Knitting: Beret, Tam
The beret has tweeded brim, which is worked flat. I used a generous increase to achieve the right bohemian look. You may knit in contrasting colors or fades of multicolored yarn along with solid or semisolid dyes.
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
This Jazzy Cast is made out of stashed yarn, just following two rules: luxurious natural fibers and fingering weight. Because I used merino, silk, alpaca and mohair blends, it turned out to be a glorious mix of fine quality.
Knitting: Tee
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
This fitted top is knitted bottom-up, worked in the round with lace at the bottom and worked flat in garter over the bust. “Feather and fan”-lace pattern forms soft waves reminding of a fresh water lake on a summer evening. Another feminine detail is decorative slip stitch that runs all the way up in the front of the top.
Knitting: Poncho
Poncho is indeed a perfect garment for fresh summer evenings - elegant yet not pretentious, it can be worn both over jeans and frocks.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Do you have leftover yarn from several larger mohair-blend garments? Then it is perfect for a shawl like this! This pattern was also born as a leftover-project after Rebecca’s Winter Sweater.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque

Knitting: Pullover
This sweater model is straight, seamless, worked in a round with simple raglan yoke. One thread lace weight silk mohair is combined with one thread alpaca fingering weight.
Knitting: Mittens
Traditional Lithuanian knitting technique and ethnographic pattern of a tulip (you may also call it a version of a lily) zested up with a bit of bright orange yarn in a “scotty” style.
Knitting: Mittens
This cute project will keep your baby’s hands warm. Our kids deserve colorful mittens, don’t they?
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This pattern is a variation of one of the sequences in my Lithuanian Lily Cardigan, the smallest floral pattern in it which I named «forget-me-not» as it resembles this charming roadside flower. The hats come out very warm due to the fair isle technique. One may use three or more contrast colors, and given the little weight of the contrast yarn...
Knitting: Mittens
The idea behind these kids’ mittens is maximum warmth and simplicity combined with the traditional Lithuanian knitting technique and pattern of the tulip (you may also call it a version of a lily).
Knitting: Pullover
When growing up in the 70ies, I remember everyone wearing the tight-ribbed sweaters with stripes, often combined with wide velvet pants. As an adult, I missed having such a turtle-necked sweater in soft wool in my closet.
Knitting: Coat / Jacket
A traditional Gotland mitten pattern inspired this short and feminine jacket. I found it in an small old book “Gotländska stickmönster”, there it had the name of Hourglass (timglas).
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
One beanie - one skein of Dale Lille Lerke yarn. The flowers in contrast color are crocheted from the left over yarn and some of the beanies got stripes in similar color. Size ladies S/M.
Knitting: Vest
This vest for young male is inspired by Swedish mitten pattern from Öland, named wind-mill. One can knit the same pattern all around, but the pinstripes make the west look more “retro”.
Knitting: Mittens
I drew this pattern from a mitten once bought at a Christmas market in Lithuania’s capital, Vilnius’ old town. One can see this pattern at Lithuanian handicraft markets in many qualities and color combinations. The name Baltic Rose is given because of the striking resemblance with the tistle (Eryngium Maritimum) so common along the whole cost o...
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
A light and warm beanie with a motif of a lilly, inspired by a photo of a mitten in a Lithuanian ethnographic book.

Knitting: Beanie, Toque, Fingerless Gloves
En lett og lun høst- og vårlue med dekorative falske fletter og matchende pulsvarmere.
Knitting: Coat / Jacket, Cardigan
This cardigan is one of two in a set that I designed together with MarianneSkatten.
Knitting: Mittens
These thin yet warm mittens are rather easy to knit: The thumb is knitted in the same pattern as the hand and has no increased sts. The cuff has this characteristic edge with two yarns and Latvian braid. You may also use the same size of needles from cast-on to bind-off.
Knitting: Dress
Two patterns served as inspiration for this dress / tunic model in dark brown. The leafs in the bottom is Gotland’s “murgröna”, which means ivy, and the floral pattern on the chest and sleeves is just named “rosor” in this old book “Gotländska stickmönster”. I’ve chosen to call it Gotand’s Rose.
