I ordered my pin late on 18th and it arrived in the UK this morning - 4 days from order to receipt. Now that’s an Olympic record.

I ordered this pin this year. It was in 2008 that I was introduced to knitting by my dear friend Juana. I had always wanted to learn how to knit. I just didn’t know anyone who knew how. I’ve decided to purchase this pin to commemorate the year I began my knitting journey. I am so lucky to have friends that like to run and knit (Juana and Aminah rock!!!). Now every time I look at this pin, I will remember those long hours of practice: knit, purl, knit…oh no it fell off the needles!! Now, knitting is my outlet and an excuse to hang with my friends. Plus it is so great that part of the proceeds go to the special olympics…awesome! I heart Ravelry more and more each day!!
