Some test knitters’ shawls turned out a bit short using this gauge. The shawl is designed to end just below the elbows, at the small of the back. If you want it larger, use thicker yarn and bigger needles.

This triangular shawl has been written to allow for people to use different sizes of yarn and needles, you can even knit it in acrylic. It can be thick and warm or lacy and delicate.

Based on the Stor Rund Dug doily with significant alterations. I used about 500 yards of stranded baby alpaca and baby mohair, laceweight.

Also included are instructions to dye wool yarn using Kool-Aid or Wilton’s food coloring paste.

This is a modified take-off of the hemlock ring, knit to be wrapped around a person instead of blanket-like/round.
