This is a great project for a beginner using a soft yarn in a masculine stitch pattern. You just need to know how to knit and purl for the stitches.

This is a good stash project – you will need less than half of each skein. If you start with full skeins you will have plenty to make a longer version

These fingerless mitts have about a 4” cuff in the arrow lace pattern. The lace ends at the wrist on the palm of the mitt and extends onto the center of the hand on the back.
