Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These socks are worked cuff down in the round using mini circular needles, you could however use DPN’s, or use the Magic Loop method with a long circular needle. It is important that you do a tension swatch to achieve the correct gauge, as it may be necessary to move to a larger or smaller needle size

Clara’s Shawl, is garter stitch and eyelet, asymmetric triangular shawl. Its designed to make the most of the yarn you have, a single skein of fingering weight yarn will make a good size shawl, however you can use more than 100g if you wish, just continue knitting the pattern repeat until you run out of yarn, leaving enough yarn to cast off.

One of my favourite places is St Ives in Cornwall . The cables on the St Ives Bay shawl reminds me of the waves that roll into the bay . The little nups are the ridges in the sand that are left in the sand when the tide goes out . The shawl is worked from side to side, it makes the most of a single skein of yarn, and is a simple yet quick knit.
