Loop scarves are often practical because they cannot easily slip from the wearer’s neck, but they can be quickly made up too. This crocheted version uses a 9.0mm hook and Rowan Thick ‘n’ Thin in 2 colorways for visual and tactile textures. Seamlessly crocheted in one piece, the scarf has a twist to show off the stitch pattern.

Dolman sleeves bring back classic lines to the simple stockinette stitch pullover. The v-neckline has a slight ribbed edge while the cuffs and hem are generously longer.
Knitting: Pullover
Slouchy and comfortable does not have to be unrefined. The eyelets in this casual pullover are made by dropping wrapped stitches in a set pattern which create an elegant touch on the cuffs and hem.

Knitting: Dress
The barely rolled collar at the shallow scoop neckline contributes to the drape and subtle shaping in this stockinette tunic. The diagonal lines of the waist’s slight A-line, bell sleeves, and the raglan shoulder create feminine curves in an otherwise masculine garment.
Knitting: Pullover
The classic “boyfriend sweater” is given a slight twist by creating vents at the bottom side seams. The textured fisherman’s rib pattern is made by knitting into the stitch below.
Knitting: Pullover
Knitted in Rowan Super Fine Merino DK, this oversized pullover uses slipped stitches instead of purls for fisherman’s ribbing without pulling the fabric into the body for comfortable drape. While the only purling is at the v-neck’s ribbing, set in sleeves are used to reduce bulk in the drop shoulder shaping.

Vibrant colors are abound in this long winter scarf designed with 8 balls of Rowan Alpaca Colour. The chevron pattern allows the stripes to pop with their subtle shades while adding a bit of texture.
Knitting: Cowl
Garter stitch and stripes create fun texture for this simple but stunning cowl designed by Heather Dixon in Rowan Alpaca Colour. Knitted as one seamless piece in the round, the cowl can be adjusted to create a larger circumference size by adding half of the recommended number of stitches.
Knitting: Scarf
Knitted in 2 pieces then grafted together with Kitchener stitch, this lace scarf designed in Alpaca Colour offers softness and subtle stripes. A video has been posted on the Knit Rowan website to help you create this wintery warm accessory.
Knitting: Cowl
This mobius cowl is made using a unique construction method that requires a special cast on -- the video link is included in the purchased pattern. The mobius is a circle with a twist in it and with this method of casting on, you will start in the middle of your cowl and as you knit you will be creating one round above this point and one below....
Knitting: Cowl
Knitted on the bias then seamed, this simple cowl offers loads of texture in its stripes. Make one for yourself and one for a friend with the recommended yarn amounts, or create one large cowl for yourself to wear.

How do you get the errata for the pattern if you had purchased the book at the time it came out? I don’t know if this is the errata but the pattern on the shoulders, front to back, didn’t match up. I ripped it out a number of times until I realized I had to flip the left shoulder to the right and visa versa for the second body piece.
