Knitting: Scarf
Overleaf is a fully reversible cabled scarf with no right or wrong side. The thick texture of the cable rib pattern will keep you ever so cosy on those chilly winter days and nights. The pattern looks complex but is surprisingly simple. Perhaps it could be your first foray into cable knitting….
Knitting: Cowl
“Inspired by the opulence of the Art Deco era, mashed together with a geometric pattern reminiscent of wallpapers from the 1960s and 70s. Contrasting garter stitches in the wave cable cascading down the full height of the cowl like strings of beads, think of those flapper beads worn in the 20’s whilst bopping to the Charleston.”
Knitting: Cowl
Rubus Cowl is the perfect partner for the Rubus Slouch. Soft and squishy, whether you like a snug fitting cowl or a long infinity scarf to loop around your neck you can’t beat a cowl as a modern alternative to the traditional scarf.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Rubus Slouch in its ruby coloured yarn reminded me of raspberries, ‘Rubus’ being the plant family that the raspberry belongs. I have many happy memories of berry picking as a child, we would return to the kitchen with our haul and mum would put them into a pie with some apples.
