Sometimes there’s a sock yarn that’s too beautiful to be hidden under pants and shoes. That’s why I came up with this “pattern” to showcase beautiful sock yarn and use up every last inch of it.

The mantis is my favorite bug, and they’re sadly underrepresented in knitwear. So this hat is designed for other mantis enthusiasts.
