In ancient Egyptian mythology, ostrich feathers were often associated with the goddess Ma’at, who represented truth, balance, and justice. The feathers were used as symbols of cosmic order and were prominently featured in the headdresses of Egyptian pharaohs and other important figures.
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
Throwback Kerchief Top is a fun, easy knit top. A throwback from a time when we made our own fashions from what we had to work with. Layer it or wear it alone, for a cooler summer feel. A simple square is knitted from corner to corner, then ties are added with crochet or knitted i cord. Great for a beginner.

Hat is knitted in the round on double point needles. Instructions are written only, no charts, using traditional hat construction. Gauge assumes one inch negative ease to fit snugly on baby’s head. Any type of baby yarn is suitable for this pattern.

In our current political climate, the best way to have your voice heard is to go and vote. This beanie was designed to be worn in November to keep a voter’s ears warm while waiting in line to cast his/her ballot. I live in a warm climate, so I chose a light weight cotton worsted yarn.
