Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
An elegant wrap stole that whispers of the Edwardian age at the turn of the century. Pattern can be created with many yarns, but best created using natural fiber. Ewe Silky Thing is a 50/50 Silk and Merino blend. (3 skeins used.) Another choice with very different results is a handspun Angora blended with a bit of dyed silk noil. About 500 yard...

Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
Combining traditional lace patterns and a modern shape, this flirty little shrug is accented with a laced edged ruffle in a solid color that compliments the iridescent hand painted variegated colorway. An option is to knit the whole thing in the variegated colorway. If so-then 1 skein is all that is needed for the 3 smaller sizes. Two skeins wo...
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
An easy wearing loose fitting shrug-like wrap is created by knitting in the round, creating a circle that narrows as it is knitted by alternating pleat sections with drop stitch sections. After binding off, the circle is folded in half length-wise and the bottom edges are sewn together leaving openings at either end for the sleeves. The sizes a...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This triangular shawl is knitted side to side, point to point. It is a chunky lattice lace shawl that is self fringing. It knits up so fast and with such ease-it seems to almost mystically knit itself! And I honestly knit this example in 1 weekend! I think this shawl would also look great in one of the many variegated colorways as well as any c...

Knitting: Coat / Jacket
This jacket is flattering on most figure types because of the side shaping and the deep V neckline. While this is called a cropped jacket, it is not a bolero. The bobbled edge falls nicely just below the hipbone. And add the bell sleeves and you have a stylish jacket that is flattering and comfortable and can be paired with a skirt or jeans-and...
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
The scarf and gloves are worked using 3 stitches: s slipped stitch called 2 color ladder stitch, a bobble rib stitch for the bottom edges and seed stitch as a border for the scarf and inside the palm of the gloves as a contrast to the ladder stitch. Have fun mixing and matching all the colorways available from Scarlet Fleece.
