Double brim beanie with pockets in brim for hand(ear) warmers!!!

Use up those scraps!!! Make something beautiful! Get crazy or keep it cool. Just have fun!!

This pattern was written from a chart found on the internet. It is my interpretation. I do not know who wrote original chart to give credit.

Cozy is made using single ply plarn, approx. 6 bags are needed. Video on making plarn can be found on facebook at Art of the Hook and Needle

Yarn amounts may very depending on brand of yarn. One 344 yard cake of yarn makes 4 cozies. Also can be made using any #4 weight yarn. Acrylic,cotton or wool.

Please enjoy this simple pattern. Notes are given at end to adjust to other sizes. Finished head band should measure approximately 18” around with some stretch. Will fit slightly tight til worn.

Size of pattern can be made larger by adding rows before center split and add length by adding more rounds to bottom.

One 10.5 oz skein of Bernat Blanket Brights makes 18 water balloons! Have fun! Laugh and enjoy!

To make smaller or larger, please decrease or increase # of foundation doubles at start of hat.

This is a hat for everyday wear,I made it with acrylic yarn so its a total wash and dry item! It can be made with any lighter weight worsted yarn however. Red Heart super saver not recommended. Will not slouch.

Hat is made using less than one skein of yarn and is worked in the round on circular needles.
