Knitting: Cowl
This piece is knit with a soft, bulky hand spun ( about 3- 5 WPI) in garter and stockinette stitches. Garter stitch is often underrated. We chose it for this project to give that bulky textured look.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat is knit using two handsun yarns, one lockspun and the other a bulky. Knit using a 2 color rib stitch which makes it an easy fit. The lockspun makes it unique with it’s soft curly locks. Optional pompom.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
The pattern allows for several different weights of handspun yarn. We used an evenly spun worsted weight. You could go through your stash and use a commercial light worsted weight.
