I used 4 colors of yarn, and made the pouch large enough to hold a small paperback book. The pouch could be easily enlarged to hold bigger books, or line it and use it has a purse.

Can be made with any worsted-weight yarn, like Red Heart Super Saver or similar.

I used a worsted weight yarn to make this. You can use any yarn with appropriate hook size. This will cause the finished size to vary. My finished critter measures 8 inches tall.

Gauge is not terribly important in this project.

This cute little bird sits about 4 1/2” tall. This will vary depending on the yarn and hook you use, as the gauge isn’t that important for the overall pattern.

The cat sits 8” tall, and measures 15” from head to foot, or 18” from head to tip of tail. This cute kitty works up quickly because of the large stitch you get from the yarn.

Materials: One 7oz skein Frosty Green, One 7oz skein Medium Thyme

This pattern is very forgivable. Use your favorite yarn and corresponding hook.
