This cowl was designed in memory of Pat Hoehnen for an event that she and her family held yearly at Cream City Yarn, in Brookfield, Wisconsin. As a prolific knitter, Pat was a familiar friendly face in the store since its beginning in 2011.

Northfield is a granny striped triangle shawl made out of fingering weight yarn. As both a knitter and a crocheter, I found that I had a lot of stray yarn left over from socks and single skeins of fingering weight yarn that I had stashed that I didn’t have a pattern in mind for.

Spruce is a snuggly warm cowl made from two skeins of Malabrigo Mecha using just a size K hook! The cowl uses up almost all of the two skeins of Mecha!

Let me know if there are any errors! This is just pattern for a simple garter stitch hat. This has become my favorite hat, and I’d love to share it with you!
