This is my first ever Hat and Cowl set pattern. I am pleased with the results. The stitches in this pattern are very easy. It’s the basic single crochet and double crochet.

This pattern was updated with new pictures. Added some notes for a clearer understanding.

Update: I was corrected many times and said that this is not a granny stitch. My bad… Sorry for that. It is Block Stitches. Thank you for those who noticed and informed me right away. But I will keep the name Granny Hat, since it’s been up already.

Gauge

The gauge I listed above is a combination of 4 sc and 3 shell stitch , since a shell stitch is composed of 5 dc I put there 19 stitches by 10 rows.
