Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Half circular shawl worked all in garter stitch featuring two single ply yarns. The two yarns used in this project were single ply yarns and though one is called sport and one fingering weight, both (to me) are closer to fingering weight. A great project to use one of your speckled yarns with a solid from your stash.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Featuring GORGEOUS yarn from Etsy shop S.M.A.K. Super Fibers. This shawl was all about highlighting the yarn. I wanted a simple pattern that would showcase it’s lusciousness. Worked from the top down using the garter tab cast on. The pattern is simple to follow, makes great TV knitting and random eyelet rows add just a bit of interest.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is what I call a campfire knit because it is perfect for wearing on cool summer nights by the fire. The patterning for this triangular shawl reminded me of the forest floor in late summer and into autumn: dried leaves and twisted twigs.
Knitting: Poncho
Another campfire knit project; ie. perfect to wear while sitting by the campfire. This capelet spices things up by dividing simple stockinette “sleeve” sections with a repeating lace pattern. The reverse side is even pretty. Capelet is worked from the top down with raglan shaping and extends to elbow length. Several sizes given in the pattern.
Knitting: Cowl
This loop is worked flat and then seamed using mattress stitch (directions are given for working it seamless as well). It starts out narrow and gradually increases in width to the lace section and then back down to the narrow beginning. The loop also moves through 5 sections of color/stitch work just to keep things interesting.
