When life gives you lemons – you make lemonade. The lemons in this instance was my not checking the yarn base when ordering extra yarn and ending up with 2 different yarns with the same colour way.

As I a was knitting up the sample for the Glenice Shawl, I quite liked the texture of the unblocked fabric and decided to use it in a soft squishy cowl. The ‘This One’s For Me’ cowl is the result, a nice soft squishy cowl the sits lovely around the neck and also can be drawn down around the shoulders.

The Glenice shawl is named after my grandmother who has been a major influence on my crafting my entire life. To honour this i have named my first pattern after her.
