I used patons bamboo yarn which is incredible soft but any worsted weight yarn will look good. I have been wanting to use the ivory and orchid colors together since they compliment each other well. For this hat I casted on 88 stitches on size 8 needles and joined in the round. I used long tail cast on but you could use cable cast on as well if that’s the method you prefer. When I make this again I think I will try casting on 78 stitches on size 8 needles (small head problems).
