Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This pattern was inspired by a trip to Paris summer 2018. We learned about the city getting its name from the Parisi Viking settlers. I bought the yarn from a wonderful yarn and tea shop, and love it. The one in the picture is from Junkyarn, it is a bulky yarn, I have also made another in a more affordable and accessible yarn from Premier Yarns...
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I knit this pattern with medium tension so it could fit a wide variety of noggins. I used about half a ball of yarn so I could almost make 2.
Knitting: Mittens
This pattern only used one ball of yarn, so it would be a very affordable gift, in case you are thinking of anyone. Hope you like it, please let me know if you find any errors.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This was one of the military hats that got donated…I wanted a pattern that would work up in no time and fit well, this was my answer.
Knitting: Cardigan
This pattern is my interpretation on Miss Twiss’ pattern, off of another sweater…I used 5 balls of yarn, straight, circular and double pointed knitting needles.
Knitting: Scarf
I used this same design many times over, it works wonderfully for variegated yarns and can be done almost without thinking. It was made as a conveniently sized scarf for myself but everyone enjoyed them so I shared. I have none left now. It will fit a young child up to adult and can be done with almost any yarn, I only used one ball of Tonalita.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
You will need less than 1 ball of yarn for this project. It goes fast and can be made in about 4 to 5 hours.
Knitting: Slippers
I know that the finished product doesn’t look felted, but they are, the yarn that was used kept its sheen and did not fuzz out, but it did shrink a lot. This pattern is knit with yarn doubled throughout like most other felting projects, not sure if I put that in the pattern but I will update it soon.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I used only one size double pointed needle in this pattern to make it easier. I think a beginner could do the pattern, but you need to be careful and pay attention to the stitch count. Hope you like it. You could possibly use any worsted weight yarn for this hat.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I liked working with the Malabrigo yarn, I also have my favorites in color, as everyone will. I used the Nostalgia colorway for this hat. I think the best second and a yarn that I have often used that will word just as well would be Manos del Uruguay. They wear great as long as they never meet a dryer. I used only one size double pointed needle...
Knitting: Beret, Tam
The beret is knit with medium tension, I came up with this for a competition, and submitted the finished product. I liked the hat, and thought other people might want to knit it. Its a great way to use up scraps. Its simple and cute, enjoy.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
The guage isn’t too important if you don’t knit too tightly or too loose. This was meant to be the match to the beret pattern, only for boys. The pattern is to fit newborn to 6 months or thereabouts. Hope you like it.
